Construction Plumber

Key Responsibilities

  • Crew Leadership & Coordination

    • Supervise and mentor plumbing tradespeople, assigning tasks and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

    • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain seamless workflow and on-time project delivery.

  • Installation & Quality Control

    • Oversee rough-in, fixture installation, piping, and fitting of water, waste, and vent systems per blueprints and specifications.

    • Conduct inspections and testing (pressure tests, leak checks) to verify system integrity and compliance with building codes.

  • Project Management Support

    • Monitor on-site materials and equipment needs, placing orders to prevent delays.

    • Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and progress reports for foreman and management review.

  • Safety & Compliance

    • Enforce safety protocols and OSHA regulations on the jobsite.

    • Ensure all work adheres to National and Texas plumbing codes and company quality standards.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Licensing & Experience

    • Current Journeyman or Master plumbing license in Texas.

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a plumbing foreman or lead role on commercial construction sites.

  • Technical Skills

    • Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

    • Solid understanding of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.

  • Other Requirements

    • Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

    • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to team development.

Salary info:

$32 - $38 / hr
