Construction Plumber
Key Responsibilities
Crew Leadership & Coordination
Supervise and mentor plumbing tradespeople, assigning tasks and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain seamless workflow and on-time project delivery.
Installation & Quality Control
Oversee rough-in, fixture installation, piping, and fitting of water, waste, and vent systems per blueprints and specifications.
Conduct inspections and testing (pressure tests, leak checks) to verify system integrity and compliance with building codes.
Project Management Support
Monitor on-site materials and equipment needs, placing orders to prevent delays.
Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and progress reports for foreman and management review.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce safety protocols and OSHA regulations on the jobsite.
Ensure all work adheres to National and Texas plumbing codes and company quality standards.
Qualifications & Competencies
Licensing & Experience
Current Journeyman or Master plumbing license in Texas.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a plumbing foreman or lead role on commercial construction sites.
Technical Skills
Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Solid understanding of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
Other Requirements
Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to team development.
Salary info:
$32 - $38 / hr
